********SOLD********Hematite is the first stone sitting on this earring and is charcoal grey in color. It gets its name from the Latin word 'haimo' (blood) because of the blood red color hematite makes when ground up, and was used in creating blush. Native American folklore states that when used as war paint in battle the person becomes invincible. Wow invincible! wouldn't that be nice?!
It is also said to inspire peace in people, bring balance, give a sense of clarity, increase intuition, and improve relationships when worn.
So far this earring is sounding like a winner to me!
The rest of the earring is made of turquoise colored Czech crystal, and sterling silver components.
