"I dream of summer" earrings

This little number was a special creation for one of my biggest supporters and a fantastic little lady. We both agree that these earrings make us dream of summer and the days of warm breezes, sandals, knee length summer dresses, and margaritas on an open air terrace.

Jade (the lime green beads) is an ancient stone that has historically been used to attract love, being a green stone, it represents the 4th chakra, the heart chakra, and can help to balance and heal this part of your life.
Opal (the pink stones) was formed many millions of years ago, when a combination of silica and water flowed into cracks and spaces in the ground. This then gradually hardened and solidified to become opal. The opal is said to be many things including the most powerful of healing stones, the stone of hope, the stone of great achievement and even the "stone of the Gods".

Nautical inspired Origami Earrings

These earrings were inspired by the ocean, sporting the nautical colors of red, navy and white, and include very precious ocean treasures... coral.

I am very grateful to the ocean for providing me with such beauty to spruce up these earrings!

All other elements on the earring are made of sterling silver.

"Green Thumb" Origami Earrings

These earrings are finished off with china jade bead and a flower shaped Swarovski crystal. Made with sterling silver components.

"All you need is love" Origami Earrings

This little number are a special order for one of my best clients, who so generously gave hers away to a girl in Costa Rica who also fell in love with them.

Pretty pink origami paper combined with rose quartz stone, no wonder they have attracted so much love, as rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love, and opens the heart chakra!!

"Out of the blue" Origami Earrings

Sometimes these origami earrings take me quite some time to make as I ponder over which (washi) paper to pair with which. This pair of earrings was an example of one of those instances and definately came to me after some time,out of the blue!

These earrings have an aquamarine stone dangling off the bottom and are accompanied by a sterling silver bali bead. The rest of the components of the earring are also made with sterling silver.

"Spring has sprung" Origami Earrings

These origami earrings are fun and bright just in time for spring... which seems to be coming faster then most of us had thought.. or so we are hoping! But don't let the thought of more snow
get you down, the bright sun shine, and things fresh earrings should be just enough to get us through whatever is left of winter!

These earrings sport three stones underneath their origami counterpart, fresh water pearl (dyed pink) and two swarovski crystals (lime, and iridescent)

"Light at the end of the tunnel" Swarovski Dangle Earring

This pair of earrings has a gorgeous swarovski crystal hanging off the bottom of it. It shimmers and shines in many different colors ranging from yelllow, blue, pink, what makes the color change depends on what is reflecting off it. The black crystals are a perfect compliment to the earring and let that little drop shine!

Swarovski Chandelier numero 2

These chandeliers had to be revisited... since my darling friend MJ quickly snatched them up, and as she so truly stated "it's hard to find chandelier earrings that aren't to big!" (or something along those lines :) ) Either way these pretties are perfect for the warmer weather coming up.. OR for that hot get-a-way you will be taking over the next month or so.

These earrings are made of sterling silver and swarovski crystal beads, in black, fuchsia, and yellow.

Be Adventurous with some Orange Aventurine Earrings!

A member of the quartz family, Aventurine's name comes from Italian "A ventura", meaning "by chance". Aventurine is often called the Lucky Talisman and is popular with gamblers and risk takers. It is believed to be an all purpose healing stone that promotes clear thinking and a positive attitude. I've also read that it helps with the libido! WHO KNEW?!

What makes these earrings so original is the piece of agate in the middle of them, called Montana agate. Each bead looks different from the rest and therefore each earring is an original, one of a kind piece. Also on this earring is clear quartz crystal, and a bali silver bead cap. All other metal components are of coarse sterling silver.

Pretty in Pink Origami Earrings

These origami earrings are made from hand made origami (washi) paper and hand folded by me. Each of these earrings are made with two pieces of paper, and as you can see by the pictures each side has a paper that is more dominant. Wear them on the pink or blue side!
These earrings are very feminine and are accompanied by a pink fresh water pearl. All metal components are made from sterling silver.

Hematite Dangle Earrings

Hematite is the first stone sitting on this earring and is charcoal grey in color. It gets its name from the Latin word 'haimo' (blood) because of the blood red color hematite makes when ground up, and was used in creating blush. Native American folklore states that when used as war paint in battle the person becomes invincible. Wow invincible! wouldn't that be nice?!
It is also said to inspire peace in people, bring balance, give a sense of clarity, increase intuition, and improve relationships when worn.
So far this earring is sounding like a winner to me!
The rest of the earring is made of turquoise colored Czech crystal, and sterling silver components.

Simple Chandelier with Swarovski Crystal Earrings

These beauties are so simple, are not overpowering, and would definitely be good for the more petite ladies who prefer a shorter, smaller earring. On the other hand, I'm a woman of "substance" and equally enjoy this pair of earrings.

The crystals are Fushia pink, forest green, and a milky lilac, the rest of the earring is made from sterling silver. I would say the round chandelier part is the size of a quarter.
